The Cardiology Department at Catskill Regional Medical Group offers treatment, diagnosis and management of heart disease. Our cardiologists are Board-certified and highly skilled in multiple sub-specialties providing advanced technological procedures depending on our patients’ unique cardiology diagnosis and treatment needs.

We are dedicated to producing innovations to improve patient care and outcomes. In the outpatient setting we diagnose, treat and manage cardiovascular conditions, including but not limited to:

Meet Our Cardiologists

Mitul Patel, MD, Cardiologist at Catskill Regional Medical Group

Mitul Patel, M.D., Cardiologist

Dr. Patel received his Medical Degree from Medical University of Lublin in Lublin, Poland. Dr. Patel completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his Fellowship Training in Cardiovascular Medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska.

Emmanuel Nketiah, M.D., Cardiologist

Emmanuel Nketiah, M.D., Cardiologist

Dr. Nketiah specializes in the diagnoses and the treatment of heart related diseases and disorders. He is a native of New York and received a B.S. from the Honors College at Stony University, and an M.D. from State University of New York at Syracuse.

He completed his internship and residency at the University of Virginia Health System and Cardiology training at Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute in Detroit. He is a member of the American Heart Association and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. As a former scientist and a researcher he has published research in the areas of cholesterol and lipid metabolism.
