Catskill Regional Medical Center Hosts Free ‘Look Good, Feel Better’ Program
Catskill Regional Medical Center’s Cancer Care Services Department , in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, will host a free “Look Good, Feel Better” program on Tuesday, April 17 at 3:00 p.m. The program will be held at Catskill Regional Medical Center, located at 68 Harris-Bushville Road in Harris, New York, in the Laboratory conference room located on the first floor of the Hospital.
Presented by Patricia Morris, owner and operator of Fantasy Hair in Wurtsboro, and sponsored by the National Cosmetology Association and the Personal Care Products Council, the program helps cancer patients transition their appearance while in cancer treatment by learning skin-care tips, make-up application techniques and wig and turban styling. By the end of the session, patients should have an improved self-image, tips on how to manage their appearance and a sense of support, confidence, courage and community.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. To register or for more information, please call the American Cancer Society at 1-888-227-2345.
