Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary Honors Dorothy Schlegel for Service
Catskill Regional Medical Center’s Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary recently honored Dorothy “Dottie” Schlegel for her years of service as President from 2007 to 2018. Under her leadership, the Auxiliary worked closely with Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer Roland “Boomer” Bojo to assist the hospital in several expansions, new equipment purchases and other enhancements throughout the years.
“Dottie has been a true inspiration to all who have worked with her,” said Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer Roland “Boomer” Bojo. “Her drive and push have led to the successful funding of many patient center projects at Callicoon.”
The Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary was established in 1971 to promote the Hospital and its community relations. Through fundraising, the Auxiliary enhances patient care by purchasing equipment and/or items which directly or indirectly affect the wellbeing and comfort of patients.
