Speech-Language Therapy

At Catskill Regional Medical Center, we are proud to provide skilled, comprehensive and evidence-based assessment and treatment of a wide range of speech, language and swallowing disorders for both pediatric and adult clients, in both English and Spanish, in a culturally sensitive environment. Pediatric clients may benefit from treatment targeting areas such as speech sound production, language development and fluency, which are essential for social and academic success. Speech-Language Therapy Conditions Treated:

  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Dysphagia (swallowing disorders, including difficulty chewing, saliva management/drooling)

  • Neuromuscular degenerative disorders (ALS/Lou Gehrig’s disease, multiple sclerosis, etc.)
  • Cancer of head and neck (resulting in laryngectomy, tracheostomy, radiation side effects, etc.)
