Emergency Department Expansion at Catskill Regional Medical Center

Catskill Regional Medical Center recently completed construction on the Emergency Department expansion, providing you and your family with a variety of benefits:

• Enhanced patient environment, including on-site security and private treatment rooms with flat-screen LCD TVs
• New technology for diagnostic testing and advanced emergency care
• Wireless bedside monitoring, to increase patient comfort
• A private consultation room for families dealing with grief or an emergency situation

Now that the expansion is complete, renovations have begun on the pre-existing Emergency Department, due to be completed in February 2012. When finished, the Emergency Department will be twice as large, with 8 fast-track rooms for rapid assessment and treatment of minor injuries and 16 dedicated treatment rooms for care of serious injuries.
