CRMC’S GROVER HERMANN HOSPITAL TO HOST CALLICOON FAMILY HEALTH CENTER OPEN HOUSE - 12/29/2009

December 28, 2009 - Harris, N.Y. - Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and CRMC Physician Services are inviting the local community to an open house at the recently opened Callicoon Family Health Center in Callicoon, N.Y. The open house will be held on Wednesday, January 6 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Grover M. Hermann Hospital Physician Office Suite, 8881 NYS Route 97 in Callicoon. The informational event will feature complimentary refreshments, tours of the office, and an opportunity to meet the staff and physician, Daryl McClendon, D.O.
The Callicoon Family Health Center, which opened in November to address the health care needs of Western Sullivan County and the surrounding communities in Pennsylvania, offers health care services in geriatrics, preventive medicine, women's health, child well care and adult medicine to the local community. Same-day or next-day appointments are available, as well as evening appointments, two days per week. Walk-ins are welcome. The office phone number is 845-887-5693.
Dr. McClendon graduated from Western University of Health Sciences' College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Los Angeles County, Ca. He completed an internship and Family Practice residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital, South Shore in Queens County, N.Y. He has particular interest in teaching, community service, medical ethics, jurisprudence, volunteerism and public speaking.
CRMC Physician Services now has 10 physician offices which provide the highest quality care to the residents of Sullivan County and surrounding communities.
