Hermann Division currently has space available in its Swing Bed Program. The advanced service is aimed at preparing patients for unassisted living or home health care follow-up subsequent to an acute hospital stay. The professional medical staff of CRMC's Grover M. Hermann Division Swing Bed Program provides services including nursing care, rehabilitation, nutritional therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy and case management. The CRMC Grover M. Hermann Division Swing Bed Program can assist patients in a variety of areas including: -Recovery from major surgery, joint replacement, vascular or abdominal procedures -Recovery after a major accident or stroke -Pain management -Wounds which are not healing or need special care -Nutritional therapy To qualify for the Swing Bed Program, a patient must currently be under the supervision of professional healthcare personnel, require skilled service on a daily basis and have a three-day acute admission prior to entering.
