November 12, 2008 - Harris, N.Y. - Cheryl M. Wolf has joined the senior management team at Catskill Regional Medical Center as Assistant Vice President, Professional Services. Ms. Wolf is responsible for Radiology, Laboratory, Cardio/Pulmonary and Rehabilitation Services as well as Marketing & Public Relations and Catskill Regional's Foundation. "Cheryl has a proven track record for leading positive change," says CEO, Steven Ruwoldt. "She has strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to excellence, and I look forward to working with her as we further revitalize Catskill Regional Medical Center." Ms. Wolf served as Vice President, Physician Relations at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis and as Executive Vice President of the Bon Secours Community Hospital Foundation, establishing several new programs. She also served as Vice President, Business Development at MedExcel USA in New Windsor, a management service organization specializing in emergency medicine. Wolf was appointed by NJ Governor Christine Todd Whitman as a consumer member of the New Jersey Health Care Administration Board, a position she held for six years. Previously, Wolf had served as a member of the New Jersey State Legislature's professional policy staff, covering issues including: Healthcare, Human Services, Higher Education and Regulated Professions. Wolf holds a Master of Science degree in Health Services Management and Policy from New School University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Rutgers University. She is an associate member and fellowship candidate of the American College of Healthcare Executives; a member of the Medical Group Management Association; and a member of the American Academy of Medical Management from which she has earned certifications. Ms. Wolf resides in Montague, NJ.
