May 8, 2012 - Harris, N.Y. – On April 21, April White and Krista Nobe of Sullivan West High School’s National Honor Society presented a check for almost $200 to Catskill Regional Medical Center’s (CRMC) Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary. The Sullivan West Honor Society raised the money by selling Valentine’s Day treats, and chose the Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary as the recipient because the group wanted to contribute to a local organization that serves the community.
The Auxiliary was established in 1971 to promote the Grover M. Hermann Hospital and community relations. Through fundraising, the Auxiliary enhances patient care by purchasing equipment and/or items that affect patient comfort and well-being.
For more information on helping the local community, volunteering or for more information on the Grover M. Hermann Auxiliary, contact Dottie Schlegel, President of the Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary at 845-932-8487.
Serving western Sullivan County and its surrounding communities, the Grover M. Hermann Hospital is a NYS designated Rural Critical Access Hospital and offers a broad array of community health services. Grover M. Hermann Hospital is now offering occupational therapy as part of its rehabilitation services and has recently expanded its imaging services with the addition of a 16-slice CT scanner.
