October 18, 2010 - Harris, N.Y. - Catskill Regional Medical Center's (CRMC) Cancer Support Group, in conjunction with the National Cosmetology Association and the Personal Care Products Council, hosted the American Cancer Society's "Look Good, Feel Better" program on Sept. 16 at CRMC's main Harris campus. Nel Miros, licensed cosmetologist, presented the program, which helps cancer patients fight the side effects of chemotherapy by enhancing their appearance through the use of make-up, turbans and other accessories. All of the participants had a wonderful time and found the program to be informative, uplifting and fun. The next "Look Good, Feel Better" program will take place at CRMC in January. The CRMC Cancer Support Group meets monthly at various dates and times in the Boardroom at CRMC's Harris campus.
