First session slated for September 9
August 17, 2010 - Harris, N.Y. - Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) announced today it will launch free parenting classes from 7 to 8 p.m. beginning Sept. 9 at Wurtsboro Medical Associates, 2930 State Route 209 in Wurtsboro, N.Y. The monthly sessions will discuss what parents can expect during the first year of their baby's life.
On Sept. 9, Dr. Stuart Tashman will discuss many elements of a baby's first year of life, including normal behaviors, diet immunizations and development. Dr. Tashman has practiced pediatrics in the Hudson Valley for more than seven years and is currently the Senior Pediatric Advisor for CRMC. He is a graduate of New York Medical College and completed his Pediatric Residency as Chief Resident in the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Tashman is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the former Chairman of Pediatrics at Orange Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Tashman offers general pediatric services to patients from childbirth to 21 years old. Those services include physicals, well-baby exams, well-child exams, ear piercing, wart removals and more.
