March 16, 2010 - Harris, N.Y. - Effective March 12, 2010, Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) lifted the temporary visitor restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of H1N1 flu. In November of 2009, the hospital had restricted visitation for children under the age of 18. The restriction has been lifted due to a reduction of H1N1 cases on a local, regional and national level. CRMC encourages all visitors to sanitize/wash their hands before and after entering a patient's room, and to stay at home when exhibiting the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat and runny nose. For specific details regarding CRMC's regular visitation policy, please visit the hospital's website at www.crmcny.org.
