Catskill Regional Medical Center Hosts Free ‘Look Good, Feel Better’ Program
June 8, 2016 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center’s Cancer Care Services, in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, will host a free “Look Good, Feel Better” program on Tuesday, June 21 at 3:00 p.m. The program will be held at Catskill Regional Medical Center located at 68 Harris-Bushville Road in Harris, New York in Boardroom ‘A’ located on the second floor of the Ambulatory Services Building.
Presented by Patricia Morris, owner and operator of Fantasy Hair in Wurtsboro and sponsored by the National Cosmetology Association and the Personal Care Products Council, the program helps cancer patients’ transition their appearance while in cancer treatment by learning skin-care tips, make-up application techniques and wig and turban styling. Ms. Morris will be joined by licensed cosmetologist, Nel Miros. By the end of the session, patients should have an improved self-image, tips on how to manage their appearance and a sense of support, confidence, courage and community.
