GROVER M. HERMANN HOSPITAL AUXILIARY STARTS A NEW YEAR – 04/16/2010 CALL FOR NEW MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS
April 16, 2010 – Harris, N.Y. – On Saturday, March 20th, Catskill Regional Medical Center’s (CRMC) Grover M. Herman Hospital Auxiliary began a new year of activity. Auxiliary meetings are held at 1:30 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month (March through November) in the Grover M. Hermann cafeteria. With 18 members present, the Auxiliary planned many exciting events for the year, including the annual Health Fair slated for Saturday, July 10. More information on the Health Fair and additional events will be announced at future meetings. The Auxiliary was established in 1971 to promote the Grover M. Hermann Hospital and community relations. Through fundraising, the Auxiliary enhances patient care by purchasing equipment and/or items that affect patient comfort and well-being. New members are always welcome. The next meeting is at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 17. Community members are invited to attend to learn more about becoming a part of CRMC’s Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary. Light refreshments will be served. The Auxiliary is currently seeking volunteers for its Health Fair. If you are interested in helping the local community, would like to volunteer or would like more information, please contact Dotty Schlegel, President of the Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary at 845.932.8487.
