December 24, 2009 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) recently received over 100 toys donated by the Fallsburg High School Career Academy Program (CAP). The toys will be distributed to children who are patients in the Emergency Room and the Pediatric wing of the hospital. The Fallsburg High School CAP program Annual Toy Drive, in its third year exceeded its goal of 100 gifts. Mona Ingber, teacher and director of the CAP Program, stated “Community volunteerism is one of the core topics of the CAP Program, not only do the students learn about giving back to the community, but they build their confidence through the self-satisfaction of making a difference. All of the students did a great job this year and we thank the community in helping us exceed our goal of 100 gifts.” Jodi Goodman, director of community services at CRMC, added, “We are touched by the generosity of the Fallsburg High School CAP program. The toys they donated will bring great joy and happiness to the young patients at CRMC during this holiday season.” (Left to Right) Melodie Denner of CRMC’s Community Service Office with Josh Ingber and Mona Ingber from Fallsburg High School.
