CRMC’S MARKETING DEPARTMENT RECEIVES FIVE NATIONAL HEALTH CARE MARKETING AWARDS – 05/09/2013
May 9, 2013 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is pleased to announce its Marketing and Public Relations Department recently received five prominent national marketing awards, including three Gold Awards, from the 2013 Aster Awards for excellence in medical marketing and the 30th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards.
CRMC’s Marketing Department received three Gold Awards from the 2013 Aster Awards for its internal newsletter “Hot Off the Stretcher” in the Internal Newsletter category; the CRMC “New Emergency Department” ad campaign in the Emergency Service Line category, and its “Imaging Postcard” in the Single Direct Mail Piece category. Sponsored by Marketing Healthcare Today magazine, the Aster Awards program is an elite competition recognizing the nation’s most talented health care marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in advertising.
CRMC also received two Merit Awards from the 30th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards for its “Imaging Postcard” in the Direct Mail category, and for its “34th Annual Golf Classic” marketing efforts in the Special Event category. The Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards are sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, a leading publication covering all aspects of health care marketing, advertising and strategic business development. A national panel of judges reviewed all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. Nearly 4,000 entries were submitted to this year’s competition.
