November 22, 2010 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) will continue its free monthly community health lecture series on Thursday, Dec. 9 at 1 p.m. at the Grover M. Hermann Hospital Cafeteria in Callicoon, N.Y. The series covers common health topics and is open to the general public. On Dec. 9, Joe Fiorille, a registered pharmacist for more than 35 years, will conduct a pharmacy brown bag assessment. Participants are asked to bring all drug prescriptions and over-the-counter products that they are currently taking. Fiorille will discuss drug interactions and provide participants with an opportunity to ask specific questions on whether their prescribed and/or over-the-counter medications could create any adverse drug interactions or dangerous side effects.
