CRMC APPOINTS ROLLAND “BOOMER” BOJO ADMINISTRATOR OF GROVER M. HERMANN HOSPITAL – 09/01/2011
September 1, 2011 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) recently announced the appointment of Rolland “Boomer” Bojo as its Grover M. Hermann Hospital Administrator. Bojo will be responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of the Grover M. Hermann Hospital in Callicoon, N.Y., and will report directly to the CEO.
Bojo, who is also Administrator of Patient Care Services and Emergency Manager at CRMC, has worked at the hospital for 16 years. During his tenure, Bojo held several positions with growing responsibility, including Grant Director, Clinical Director of the Emergency Department and Director of Infection Control.
“Boomer brings a wealth of administration and nursing experience to Grover M. Hermann Hospital,” said Rosemary Frado, Interim CEO of Catskill Regional Medical Center. “His dedication, work ethic and expertise are all great leadership qualities, and we are pleased to have him as our Administrator at the Callicoon campus.”
Bojo has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and attended Binghamton University in Binghamton, N.Y., and has completed certification courses in NYS EMT, Professional Development Emergency Management, Fire Fighter 1, Haz Mat Technician and ICS 400. He is also the Deputy Coordinator of the Delaware County Office of Emergency Services and is a member of the Hancock Fire Department and the Hancock Rescue Squad.
Serving western Sullivan County and its surrounding communities, the Grover M. Hermann Hospital is a NYS designated Rural Critical Access Hospital. The hospital offers a broad array of community health services, including a 24-hour Emergency Department, physical therapy, Bridge to Home Rehabilitation Program, imaging and laboratory services.
