CRMC AND ORMC NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED WITH MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS AWARDS – 8/21/14
Middletown, NY – The Greater Hudson Valley Health System (GHVHS), comprised of Catskill Regional Medical Center and Orange Regional Medical Center, is proud to announce recognition from the 31st Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards and the Aster Awards. The competitions, judged by a national panel, award healthcare organizations who showcase exemplary quality, creativity and message effectiveness in the areas of marketing and public relations. This year, Orange Regional Medical Center and Catskill Regional Medical Center, were acknowledged for several awards, marking another successful year for the hospitals and the work of the Marketing and Public Relations Department.
Orange Regional Medical Center was the recipient of five total awards from Healthcare Advertising: two Bronze and three Merits. Bronze awards were given for a Web site homepage banner ad for the hospital’s quality awards and for a Rowley Family Birthing Center outdoor billboard. In addition, the hospital’s Physician Recruitment Brochure, a special Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) video and email-blast about the NICU’s first birthday all received Merit awards for outstanding quality.
Catskill Regional Medical Center was also recognized for its marketing accomplishments. The hospital was honored to receive a Merit award for its emergency department radio advertisement which showcased the highest standard of excellence.
Orange Regional was the recipient of several Aster Awards. The Hospital received a Gold award for its Physician Recruitment Brochure, a Gold award for its Physician Newsletter Raising The Bar, a Gold award for its Prematurity Awareness Event, a Silver award for its Rowley Family Birthing Center Billboard and a Bronze award for its Children’s Emergency Department Information Folder.
Catskill Regional Medical Center was also recognized with a Bronze award for its Employee Newsletter Hot Off The Stretcher and a Bronze award for an Emergency Department Radio Advertisement.
The GHVHS marketing and public relations department won the admirable healthcare awards in partnership with local firm Focus Media.
