Catskill Regional Medical Group Adds Infectious Diseases to its Growing Services
Catskill Regional Medical Group now offers services for Infectious Diseases. The Infectious Diseases Department at Catskill Regional Medical Group led by Marina Keller, MD has physicians and healthcare providers who are trained to investigate and diagnose all manner of infections and fevers of unknown origin.
Director of Infectious Diseases, Marina Keller, MD, is Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Infectious Diseases and the American Board of Medical Microbiology. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biophysics from Cornell University, and completed her medical degree, Residency in internal medicine, a Fellowship in infectious disease and second Fellowship in medical microbiology at McGill University. The Infectious Diseases Department at Catskill Regional Group and Orange Regional Medical Group has specialists who are trained medical diagnosticians with the knowledge base to treat:
- Clostridium Difficile (C. Diff.) Infections through fecal transplant treatment. We are now the first location in the Hudson Valley offering fecal transplant by capsule.
- Multi-drug resistant infection
- Surgical infections, such as prosthetic joint infections, and spinal infections.
