CATSKILL REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER OPENS UROLOGY PRACTICE – 4/03/2013
April 3, 2013 – Harris, N.Y. – Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) announced today that Chief Medical Officer Dr. Gerard Galarneau will bring his urology practice to CRMC.
A Board-certified urologist, Dr. Galarneau is a talented clinician and surgeon with extensive training in urological conditions. A graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, he received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla. He completed his urology residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, where he was presented with the Norman E. Stoller M.D. Award for demonstrating devotion and dedication to patient care, and for proficiency in urology.

The urology practice specializes in the treatment of incontinence, voiding, erectile dysfunction and kidney stones. Dr. Galarneau also has expertise in the treatment of all urologic cancers including prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer. The office, located at the main Harris campus on the 3rd floor of the Ambulatory Services Building, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and appointments can be made by calling 845-794-0996.
