Middletown, N.Y. (July 18, 2012) – The Greater Hudson Valley Health System (GHVHS), comprised of Catskill Regional Medical Center and Orange Regional Medical Center, is pleased to announce that John Lynch has joined as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology.
Mr. Lynch comes to the System from Provena Health, a 2,000-bed, six-hospital health system that includes 16 long term care facilities, five home health agencies and 28 clinics based in Mokena, Illinois. Throughout his tenure at Provena Health, Mr. Lynch held several positions including System Director Application Services, System Director Financial Applications and most recently System Vice President, Chief Information Officer where he was responsible for information technology, telecommunications, web and media services and clinical engineering.

Mr. Lynch earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marine Transportation from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy where he was also a licensed Officer in the United States Merchant Marines and a commissioned Officer in the United States Army Reserve.
